Hmmmm.. a new Church

I am going to visit a church down the road that is within walking distance. We have played on their playground before. They have a small private school. That is the main reason I want to visit. It isn't my fairh but if I feel welcome enough I may consider the school for at least Evan. They are Baptist. That is one of my least favorite Christian denominations but I can try at least. The public school here is such a bad fit for my kids and having to work I can't homeschool the way I want. I feel my hands are tied....

What should we plant?

Eliot brought out some seed packets. Now, what to plant first? Several little kids hovered around to help her choose. It has been really warm lately but I am sure we will have a few more frosts....

Early Intervention Conference

Excited about professional development!!!! As a Special Instructor / Evaluator / Developmental Specialist and specializing in motor and feeding instruction it is time for adult education!. Of course I found a book I want already and had to wear my sassy Early Intervention shirt :) . As a CLC (certified lactation counselor) it was so nice to find a feeding / nutrition book with a breastfeeding chapter!!!

Etta's appointment

Etta has come a long way. We weren't sure she would even be walking by 2 or 3. She is running and talking now. She is still delayed and has an IEP but her basic genentics are normal. We did get some labs done today to rule out some metabolic disorders. After they come back if they are OK we probably won't have to see the geneticist till around puberty. We have a neurological and developmental pediatrician referral we are waiting on now.... Those take months to get in to see.
