Happy Thanksgiving

Yesterday fun..

Having the day off was surreal. Dad had to work half a day but the kids had the run of the house. Lyn took Eliot out for a big sister little sister day.  The little kids found a baby lizard and I am sorry to say they may have injured it with love. (Poor lizard) It was a nice lazy home day. I was supposed to help with childcare at the school but I wasn't needed. 2 of my other jobs tried to call me in but nope, I wanted to have family time....

Walking to school...

So thankful that when a car won't start the kids' school and my work is within walking distance. We really should do this more often for the exercise except Eli. He got a ride.

Promises in the Bible

Such a blessing to talk about all the promises that are told of in the Bible in the Ladies of Faith Sunday School class.... it reminded me of a book Eliot gave me as a gift a while ago. I guess I know what I am prompted to read over break..

Called to cover....

Elain has such thick hair.

Mason jar scrambled eggs

Eliot is officially on her own and able to survive.. (OK, not totally, she is only 12). She discovered how to microwave her own eggs perfectly to her taste in a mason jar in the microwave. I told her "time to leave the nest and take your eggs with you :) ."
