Your co-workers know you when...

This is what I found at work waiting for me. Thank you Ashley. I shall hide it away as my coke for teacher emergencies!

In the classroom again...

Teaching is what I do whether it is in a formal classroom, to a new mother learning to breastfeed, to my own children, or even to strangers. These past weeks in the classroom have been a blessing. I need to find my groove but all is going well. We shall see what comes next.

Spanish Word of God anyone?

My mom is always on the outlook for bargins even for Bibles. She found this one at a local Christian store. It was only $5. She thought I would like it. I have a couple of Spanish Bibles and don't need it. I donated it to our Spanish Sunday School class that I attend. Hopefully someone in need will find a need for it.

Potty Time!!!

Eli is almost 2 and a half years old. We aren't aggressively potty training or anything at home. He sees others, tries, and know what the process is but we aren't pushing him yet. But at school this week HE WENT PORTY for his teacher...

My baby is getting so big...

August the Armadillo

Each week a student in Elaina's class gets to take the class pet (a stuffefd armadillo) home for the weekend. Elaina had so much fun with him. He went to the library, played in the yard, and went to church.  She slept with him and Eli was so silly that one night he brought August to me laughing because he "stole" it from Elaina in her sleep. August even got to play with snails and a preying mantis.
