National Daughters Day

I better say something on National Daughters Day... half of my kids are daughters :). 5 beautiful young women have places in my heart. Two are grown, Lyn and Annika... 3, Eliot who will be 13 tomorrow, Elaina, and Etta are still at home. Each are so unique and one has blessed me with grandchildren including 2 of her own daughters....

Two pictures for Eliot whose birthday is tomorrow!

Elaina head covering...

One of my daughters at school... I teach there and snuck up on her at lunch. She is 8 and says she feels like covering at school but is afraid people will pick on her. I assured her they wouldn't. We are blessed to have them attend a Christian school where every teacher is a Bible believing Christian.

Salmos and Psalms

The Word in Spanish saved my soul. I have read the Bible before but this year my goal is to read it in Spanish...

The Four Gospels

It is so hard to find devotionals or scripture supports that are KJV Bible based. This $2 find was a surprise... The Great Commission is the first verse I highlighted...

My boys... nap time

48 years old and 3 and a half... My heart is captured by my husband and my youngest. Yeah, I love the other 9 kids too 😃 but the baby of the family got cuteness dibs today.

Supporting missionaries...

Ms. Dilfer is a sister-in-Christ, friend, past co-worker, past teacher of my children, and called to serve in South Africa. Praying is the biggest way to support our missionaries. But financial support is also needed. We had the opportunity to buy a few t-shirts to help support her. Evan is not a huge fan of his picture being taken like a typical 14 year old. The kids are showing off their new shirts!

Please mom....

Eliot is getting to that age that she is like "Please mom, another picture?"...

Almost a teenager...

Elaina growing up....

I got this dress for Eliot but it ended up too small. Elaina got it. With her hair up in a bun she looks so grown up...

Finally made it to the library yesterday...

Not our typical library trip but we went. We used to go to the library almost every week. For over 12 years now.... But with Covid they have restrictions. No child areas open, no puppets to check out, no extras. It is like an "old school" library with just books! :) . The kids still had fun and got to choose books. Elaina picked out her own chapter book and read it for hours. I got loads for school and to share with the school library.

Portable air conditioner

I can now go camping in Alabama. My solar charged battery pack is charging my portable air conditioner. I can now dissappear into the wilderness :) .

Happy 25th Birthday Lyn
