Church and lunch

Church today was awesome.  Lyn stood with the high schoolers for the bridge ceremony.  It celebrated 2 of the kids in her class who are graduating high school. They then read John Lennon ' s Imagine to the congregation.  Then Annika's class had a flash mob dance and had the whole congregation singing to the song from the play Rent. They were wearing t - shirts in colors from the rainbow with letters ironed on spelling out Justice. We then had lunch at a friend's house. A good day.....

It was RE day at church and all teachers got a gift and breakfast. I love my necklace....

Annika even got to hold a bearded dragon lizard.

Updating our family Altar

With Annika's help I cleaned up and updated our family Altar in the living room. She picked out the flowers to represent Spring and chose lemon for the diffuser. My two eldest girls are now having a girl's night of doing hair and picking out clothes for church tomorrow.

Annika's request for dinner

White Chicken Enchiladas. ....

New glasses

Yes they are purple....

Out of gas

When you run out of gas on the interstate with 5 kids it is good to have AAA and boobs....

Dinner and a baby...

Salmon patties and grilled veggies...

Yum

My husband sure can cook.

Beltaine Candles

No fancy bonfires just quiet reflection with Lyn and Elaina with some candles lit. I have been saving this red womyn candle for today. Of course thete is barley in my Chalice. My thoughts today are not very forward thinking. I am missing my kids that are visiting with grandparents and those that live with their dad. I want today to be full of merriment but it isn't.  Stress at work is messing up the flow at home. Lyn is going through challenging moments and I have to pretend everyday to be stronger than I am.

Merry Beltaine

Lyn changed out my garden flag. I have a special candle I will burn tonight. And of course there are other ways to celebrate Beltaine ;).....

Happy 18th Birthday Danny!

Can you believe 18 years ago I gave birth to my first child. I was 21 years old and didn't know what I was doing. Danny has taught me a lot. When your first born has Autism every day has a new light shed on it.... Happy Birthday Danny!

We had brunch before I went to work with Granny at Panera Bread. He was in a very talkative mood. I am so proud of him.

Cokes at work.....

I have been trying to drink less soda lately. A co-worker brought me a temptation. Thank you for the cokes.
