Politeness

You can call it a Southern thing, upbringing, part of your personality, a way to get something, or plainly just the way you hope your children will act :) . Last Saturday after working all night I stopped by McDonald's on Valleydale Road to grab biscuits so everyone wouldn't be too rushed for work. This particular McDonald's has never gotten my order wrong, they are always polite no matter the hour, and seem to like their job OK. Well, I told them that.  I didn't get myself anything because I am trying to watch my diet but I caved. I ordered a small hot chocolate. I tried paying for it but the cashier would not let me al all. Politeness is rewarded... but not really how you think. Not by a free drink, but by a customer appreciating the work they see and putting a voice to it...
