This beautiful candle is for sale. I have 3 available for $10 each. They are made from an upcycled Twinnings Tea tin (tea for two?). There are two wicks for extra light. The wax is 100% soy and the wicks are jute. You know you want one!!
I created this blog to allow anyone who wishes to follow the life and times of Susan Betke-Campbell and her family.

Alabama Youth Congress
Evan is on his way. My new teenager headed to days of fellowship, prayer, and fun. He was just born yesterday... When did he get big enough to walk to church on his own without me?

Etta and her molluscum
They happen to almost every child. I remember when Lyn had quite a few. They are caused by a common virus. A homemade way to get rid of them is to break the top open by gently scratching them to expose the center then treat with tea tree oil with a carrier oil. I added frankincense and a drop of oregano essential oils. Top it off with charcoal bamboo band aids. After a week or so of treatment and they should be gone.
CLC recert time
Study time for my CLC (certified lactation counselor) recertification.... I need 18 CEUs to maintain my certification. This time I chose a book as my research material. It should be a good read...

Goodbye South Africa
This place will always hold a piece of my heart. We were singing and ministering at a Township school. The classrooms have more than 80 students per teacher.

South Africa!!!
So much has happened since we arrived. It is Winter here so it is nice to be away from Alabama's heat but I miss my family. So far we have participated in a VBS, helped at several services, taught, sang specials in multiple services and much more. I will post more and give more details when I have better internet connection.
