My migraines have been having issues. Some new lighting at church triggers them. I was tired from working the night before and on 5 hours sleep but even though my boss interrupted me during Sunday School class to borrow my store key I tried to enjoy church. Eliot sang beautifully in the choir. I was barely able to see or walk because of my migraine and slept the rest of the day before my night shift. I look as bad as I feel but all is well with my soul....
God is good...
Today we have eye appointments for me and Evan. I got updated ones even surged a little and got some perscription sunglasses. Evan neefs some glasses for occasional use due to his injury and infection. Later today it is off for scoliosis follow-up for Evan and diagnosis for Eliot. Both have been having back pain.
Evan and Eliot did great at their appointments. Dr. Elmer is awesone. Eliot is 5'2" and Evan is 5'3". Eliot weighs a little more but she is becoming a young lady. We got some blood work for Evan to try and figure out his abdominal pain.
It has been a bumpy road but a great journey so far and going to get even better. We went from a common law marriage, court house contract marriage, and now a covenant marriage when we renewed our vows a few years ago. We are moving into a new chapter as we get older. Here we go.....
We actually got away for two nights without children. We even got to go swimming. No pics though...
Every year I try get a picture of Eliot in front of the tree she planted. Of course she then preceded to climb the tree with her back packnon. The weather is ominous as tornados may be on the way...
I totally forgot to post these pictures. Everyone had a good visit. They are still monitoring Etta's missing teeth and how it affects her eating, speech, and jaw growth. It is nice to have an outdoor playground to wait in.
Eli keeps asking why my belly is so big. You gotta love 3 year olds. I lost a good bit of weight in 2018. I didn't try. It just happened. I was working a lot but my eating habits were if anything worse. A good bit of fast food in between jobs was my norm. Well, in 2020 the weight started creeping back up to my "normal" weight of around 170. It had gotten down to 147 at my lowest since before kids. My goal is 160 maybe a in fit 150. I am at 200 right now. This is ridiculous. Something has to change. My blood pressure in still low. My thyroid us fine. My iron and vitamin D were low when I was skinny but good now. I do intermittent fasting. I have got to get rid of the soda somehow. I have used my essential oils in helping with weight loss before. No reason not to try again. A twist on the triple peppermint, grapefruit, and lemon combination is adding a few drops of CBD oil with coconut oil as my carrier oil. It is cinnamon flavored and that can help with cravings. So, why not? I am on day 2. I will give it a month. I always see a boost in my immune system when using EOs so that can't hurt in this virus culture right now.
