Happy Halloween .... Sacred Samhain

It was a rainy night but Annika, Evan, Eliot, Ben, and Elaina had fun running from house to house. Lyn and Jaynie had some vampire fun on their own...

We didn't get to visit my ancestors graves this year. So to honor them I lit a black candle on my Crone / Wise Woman shelf.

Herbal house call....

I enjoy helping others and making up concoctions. A little herbal gift package for a neighbor who is under the weather....

Sweet sisters

Annika 13 years old and Etta 22 months...

The journey...

It is never over it just changes. Mothering 9 children is a unique choice. My children all have different needs. Annika needs me a lot right now. Going through court proceedings to bring her back into my household is the journey I am on right now. Sitting here at the courthouse is a hurry up and wait process that provides so much anxiety. Hopefully the end result will be positive if we are even seen at all today.....

Inchworms on a rose

It is a bit strange to have a single rose blooming in our yard in October. Stranger yet is that it is attracting inchworms. The longer they stay on the petals the more pink and translucent they become. It is an interesting phenomenon.

Poor sick Etta

Etta is prone to fevers that come and go without any other symptoms. This may or may not have anything to do with her disorders. Nursing and chilling in her Hello Kitty cloth diaper should help the sweet baby.

We had a lot of fun and met new friends. I sold a lot of cloth diapers and some essential oils. I had Annika, Eliot, Lyn and Jaynie help out....

The Southeastern Women's Herbal Conference

Last weekend was awesome. We had a great time at the conference. The cabin was cozy. The drive in my new car was smooth. I only took Lyn, Jaynie, and Eliot this time. If I can get someone to provide childcare I want to take all the girls and possibly Ben next year. Older boys aren't allowed. Hurricane Joaquin pushed some rain into the mountains so we had a lot of mud to deal with but it sort of felt right. The spiritual environment was even and enlightening...

I bartered all of the necklaces and candles I brought. I should have brought more....

I got to meet Rosemary Gladstar!!!!

She signed two of my books!!!

I got to meet Whapio!!!!

The hemlock tree is endangered but there were plenty at camp.

I enjoyed watching this movie in this environment...

Road trip!
