Service for the church

 We enjoyed putting in new flowers at the church this past weekend. Teaching the children that service for others is what Christ wants for them.

A new kitty

 The kids found a really pretty stray kitten. The named him Kitty Baby after Pa and Ma's cats. So far it is adjusting really well.

Lighting strikes

 Eliot's poor tree got hit by lightning. We lost a large strong limb. Hopefully the roots are healthy and the tree will make it.

Junior and senior camp

 Elaine and Ben went to Mount Moriah for the first time. Being away for a week was good for them. Elaine was a bit sad at first. She is a Mama's girl for sure. Their counselor sent some really good pictures. They both stood up and gave a short testimony at church about the experience. Eliot had a blast as usual. Evan didn't talk about it much but he seemed to enjoy himself.

Today's morning adventures

 This is the new version of the playground at my old elementary school...

Early morning park day last Friday

 About the only time it is cool enough to play outside is before summer school for the kids and before work for me. Bonus, a park with a creek for my jungle kiddos... this was last Friday.
