Helpers....

I worked on cleaning and setting up the nursery classroom at church. I will be working in there more this summer so it just felt right. It was really hard not being able to fully express myself in my job as a toddler teacher in a privately owned daycare. Now I can embrace diversity and celebrate differences of belief. As anyone who is familiar with Unitarian Universalist churches they are known for embracing all beliefs and none... You can believe what you believe, be Agnostic or Atheist. It is all OK...

The little kids came along.....

We shall say they were a help ;)

Before work today....

Playing with the little kids....

Bring your daughter to work day :)

It wasn't planned but Etta had to be somewhere while I worked so she came with me. That is one perk of working as a two year old teacher and having a two year old....

U for underwater

When you teach 2 year-olds you tend to look to Pintrest for ideas. Sometimes these end up as Pintrest fails. Well, I think my co-worker did great. I am pinning this in hopes someone is inspired and does NOT make a Pintrest fail...

Water day after church....

Church today

It was RE Sunday today. It was a time to recognize the children and the teachers both volunteer and paid teachers. I have not taught in the nursery for about a year now. I was recognized as a nursery volunteer. I took a break from teaching when I did not get a long with the new coordinator and the new policies set in place. My children aren't as involved in the church as I would like them to be. Mainly most of the kids are in the choir and they don't want to do that so they get left out. They still really enjoy church though....

Buck Creek Festival

We took the 5 youngest kids to the festival. They call it the ducky festival because there is a rubber duck race. It is a big fundraiser for the city. The kids always enjoy themselves. We even got a good parking spot and didn't have to walk too far....
