Hanging out in the nursery... Eli was the only bigger baby / toddler so I just hung out with him. I honestly just don't feel very comfortable as a single mom in the couples home builders Sunday School class. I am out of sorts as a single mom.

11 years old!! Birthday lunch with Granny. I have asked my mom to give the kids memories instead of presents. So, they usually get a sleepover, an outing. Or for Eliot it is always Panera Bread!

A country home visit

I still contract for the state for Early Intervention and have a small caseload. It is official Fall and Eliot wanted some goldenrod. So of course I stopped and picked some. And, it being Alabama and still a very racist yet proud simple place a home (not the one I visited) had a Confederate flag, an American flag, a an Alabama football (not state flag) flying....

Ugh, I need a new home....

I was married on the first day of Spring...

Only fitting to announce divorce on the first day of Fall....

Not a sad or happy day...

Just facts of two people not meant to be for specific reasons that won't change. I know people will day to work on it, marriage is a covenant not contract. But, we never had a religious ceremony with vows or anything. Just a civil paperwork driven meeting on my lunch break.

Maybe one day I will find someone who wants more than a legal contract. In fact I feel my ex never even really wanted that and I pressured him. We had 3 children before we were legally married. That speaks volumes...

We went to the library yesterday. I meant to post before midnight. So I have to say yesterday when it still feels like today. Took the littles....

I wonder when Evan and Eliot will hate being called that. They all thoroughly enjoy the Hoover library. And everyone basically behaved. A win...
