Today was a work day as a Home Health Nursing Assistant. No need for scrubs or medical like attire. So, I went with a denim skirt (my favorite one), a t-shirt, and a flower print heanband cover that can be widened for back of the head coverage. I felt very comfortable and casual yet modest and prayerful. It was a good day....
I created this blog to allow anyone who wishes to follow the life and times of Susan Betke-Campbell and her family.

good for you!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing a little of your life Susan. We have a lot in common. I am just starting my journey with herbal medicine and most of my 8 children have left home. If I add my two sons-in-law and two in-utero-grandbabies then we are pretty close to eachother, I reckon!
ReplyDeleteDid you home educate or teach in a school?
Here in New Zealand, we are allowed to teach our own children (and other children we have custody of eg my border's grandchildren), as long as we can "satisfy" a Ministry of Education official that we will teach them as regularly and as well as a registered school.
I thank God for that freedom, as so many other countries are not allowed to do it anymore. I am very aware that we are likely to lose that God-given privilege (He might say 'duty' Deuteronomy 6!), soon as the governments of our times are increasingly hostile to Christian Education, both in schools or homes.
Anyway, welcome to the Head Covering Movement group. I hope you feel respected and loved by our wee community.
Yours sincerely
Esther
