I am struggling with an abscess from mastitis. I have had to use some of my frozen milk to keep up with Elaina. I have had several strong temptations to just throw in the towel with breastfeeding and pumping through so much pain. I am recovering and Elaina is nursing a lot more. She has only had one bottle today and that was because I was at work. But look what came in the mail today! What is wrong with this country? The main ingredient in the "sensitive" formula is corn syrup solids... yuck! If I did not have the resolve that I do and the knowledge that my body can provide for my baby this would have pushed me over the edge and tempt me to supplement with formula. Bad Similac, bad!!!!

It's this very circumstance that prompted me, 3 days after my son was born, to use formula. I hate it. I love that NY is now not allowed to encourage formula.
